Fellowship Friday Schedule

Come meet and visit with your colleagues at the Copper Cellar at 4:30. We meet upstairs near the walk-up service area. We usually meet the 4th Friday of the month.

This spring's meetings are January 26, February, 23, March 23, and April 27. Hope to see you there.

2006-2007 Meeting Schedule

We'll be meeting the 4th Wednesday of each month. In October and November we'll be meeting in 327 Claxton Addition. In the spring the meetings will be in Claxton 451.

  1. letter to the dean: anonymous ballots for dept head retention
  2. Letter to the dean: request to have single banner for the combined college.
  3. Convene a meeting or set of meetings to get info from Lou Gross, Susan Martin, the Association of Women's Faculty and the Union about what's being done about salaries.
  4. letter to Tom George: the state of the chairs in many of our classrooms may be a legal liability.

What concerns do you have? The College Senate can help.

The College Senate serves as an advocate of and voice for the faculty
in matters that affect the academy of the College, including faculty
affairs, policies, and procedures. The College Senate helps to create,
maintain, and protect an environment that allows faculty to accomplish
their assigned responsibilities -- Section 5.3, CEHHS Bylaws

Please let us know what issues are most relevant to you. We will use
this information to set our goals for the 2006-2007 year.
