Well, I don't normally post personal stuff here, but this is pretty
funny. I sent these pictures
of my dog Thor and his cat, Modi, to a friend of mine who works at a TV station. Yes. My dog
has his own web site. Now he's a TV star.
A recent post to the Tennessee Technology Trainers email list outlined
a few "Help Needed" items. This post comprises my knee-jerk reactions. They may be wrong.
I used to think that learning was fun. I decided today that
learning isn't fun. Knowing things is fun. If you want people to
learn things you need to either make them easy to learn or convince
them that their lives will be much better if they have learned the
stuff.
The International Herald Tribune has a story
about MIT's so-called $100
Laptop initiative. It's looking pretty cool, and I believe that
there's not much that kids (or most adults, really) need to do that
such a machine won't be able to do.
